Weekend trip

This weekend we went to Louisiana. Originally we were going to go to the NCAA elite eight BYU game, but with our bad luck they were eliminated early. Although this was unfortunate, we actually had a great time and enjoyed our visit with Joel's Cousin Janel, her husband Jim and kids Brennan and Kate.

On the way there:

And we experience the swamp lands!



This is an 18 mile long bridge over a swamp! It was beautiful and unlike anything we had ever seen before... Other than the movie "The Princess and the Frog".



New Orleans was just as jazzy as we thought it would be!

This is a popular part of New Orleans called "the French Quarter" from the ninth floor of a parking garage.



We had fun walking around the city.

To the kids, this was as much fun as a real water park!



Bailey had a blast!

Bailey's First Dental Visit

Joel cleaned Bailey's teeth at his school last Friday. Bailey was such a good girl the whole time and was so cute with the bib and the little pink glasses. She let him polish, floss, and paint on fluoride.









Bailey and I went shopping afterward for a little reward she picked out dress up clothes at target, then we went to chick-fil-a... yea!
